Who is responsible
The controller for enquiries and bookings handled through Villa Elia is Γιώργος Μολβαλης, operating Villa Elia at Nefelis & Mirrinountos, 19003 Markopoulo, Greece. For privacy matters contact info@v-elia.com. This notice concerns the public website and the enquiry/booking workflow.
What we collect and why
When you request an event, we process the contact name, email, telephone, enquiry type, requested date, guest count, event type, chosen services and any information you choose to include. For planners, this may include a couple name or event reference. Please avoid entering sensitive information or personal details that are not needed for your request.
We use this information to answer your enquiry, assess availability, prepare and revise a proposal, and manage a booking if you proceed. Processing necessary to take steps you request before a contract or to perform a booking is based on that purpose. We also process proportionate technical/security information to protect the service and maintain reliable business records; legal recordkeeping obligations may apply to completed transactions.
Technical data and service providers
Hosting and request delivery use Vercel. CRM records are stored in Supabase. Our team may use Google Workspace for business contacts, booking calendars, offers and correspondence, and Telegram for internal enquiry notifications. These providers process data as needed to supply those functions; access within Villa Elia is limited to the people handling your enquiry or booking. Provider processing may involve countries outside the EEA under the safeguards applicable to the relevant service. We do not sell enquiry data.
The form records campaign parameters, first landing URL, referring page and selected language when available, so we can understand where an enquiry came from. Technical logs and IP information can be processed for security and rate limiting. Bot protection may use Cloudflare Turnstile; its verification result is checked on the server when enabled.
Browser storage and external links
Session storage remembers the first landing page and referrer during a browser session. The request form itself does not use this to provide cross-site advertising. The current site does not load optional advertising pixels, analytics tags, Wix chat or a Wix member area. Links to social networks and Google Maps open external services with their own privacy notices. If optional tracking is introduced later, this notice and the relevant choices will be updated before activation.
How long we retain information
We keep enquiry information for as long as it is relevant to answering the request, following up and managing the business relationship. Booking, accounting and dispute-related records may need to be retained longer according to applicable obligations and the purpose of the record. Retention depends on whether an enquiry becomes a booking, the duration of the relationship and any outstanding obligations; contact us to ask about the records relating to you or request their deletion.
Your choices and rights
You may contact info@v-elia.com to request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability where applicable, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it for the future. We may need information to verify that a request concerns your own records. You may also contact the Hellenic Data Protection Authority at www.dpa.gr.
Providing the contact and event details marked as required is necessary for us to handle an online enquiry. You can instead contact us by telephone. No booking or decision with legal effects is made solely by the availability display or an automated public quote; our team confirms the proposal and booking.
Review preview and updates
While the website is in review mode, the form clearly identifies test submissions: these do not create CRM customer/request records or send booking notifications. Review-mode technical hosting logs can still be processed. This notice was updated on 22 October 2026 and will be revised if the services or processing change.
